At A Casa das Chocas, we work to make every stay a comfortable, peaceful experience tailored to the needs of our guests. Located in San Román, in the heart of Os Ancares de Lugo, our rural accommodation combines the charm of the Galician mountains with services designed so that you only have to worry about enjoying your surroundings.

All our rooms have heating and free WiFi, ensuring maximum comfort at any time of year. Whether you are planning a weekend getaway, a family holiday or a few days to disconnect in nature, you will find a welcoming space where you can rest after exploring the impressive landscapes of Os Ancares.

One of the main attractions of A Casa das Chocas is its swimming pool, a perfect place to relax during the warmer months. Surrounded by the tranquillity of the rural setting, it offers an ideal space to cool off, sunbathe and enjoy peaceful moments surrounded by nature.

Every morning, we serve a continental breakfast included in your stay. Breakfast is served at our bar and is designed to help you start the day with energy before setting off on hiking routes, visiting the area’s traditional villages or discovering the most spectacular corners of the mountains of Lugo.

Although we currently do not have a separate reception area, guests are welcomed and assisted personally from the establishment’s bar. This is where arrivals are managed and keys are handed over, always with a friendly and flexible approach. We also adapt to the needs of each guest to facilitate arrivals outside regular hours whenever necessary.

Animal lovers are also welcome. At A Casa das Chocas, we allow dogs weighing up to 15 kg, so you can share your stay with your pet and enjoy the nature of Os Ancares together.

As for dining, although the restaurant is currently closed, we offer lunch and dinner by prior request for our guests. This allows you to enjoy a more comfortable experience without having to travel elsewhere after a day of sightseeing or outdoor activities.
